Our team of advisers are all Chartered Financial Planners with extensive knowledge and experience. Between them, our advisers have over 90 years of experience in the financial services industry.
Patrick McIntosh
Patrick has 44 years' experience in financial services with a wide range of knowledge and experience. Patrick loves the macro overview and thrives on investment planning and achieving results for our clients.
Patrick is a Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts and is actively involved with the Institute of Economic Affairs, as well as a board member of the VLV (Voice of the Listener and Viewer).
Patrick regularly supports local charities including the Outwood Cricket Club of which he was recently appointed Vice President. He walked unaided to the South Pole in 2014/15 to raise awareness about health issues and continues to share his experiences on a pro bono basis. His latest expedition where he set off in May 2019 involved cycling to Japan via Europe and Russia, raising awareness of climate change, bacteria, health, diet and living a good life.
Sue Harding
Sue has worked in the financial service industry for 30 years and at KMG for the last 8 years. Sue is a Trust and Estate Practitioner and a full member of STEP and specialises in all aspects of estate planning, advising on Trusts and Wills as well as general financial advice. Sue enjoys working holistically with clients and helping them with their long term financial goals.
In her spare time she loves walking and keeping fit.
Nick Matthews
During a career spanning 17 years, the last ten with KMG, Nick has spent much of this helping clients find their way through the changing and often bewildering world of personal finance, initially through pensions but building on that over the last five years to offer advice on the wide array of beneficial tax saving possibilities that exist.
He is qualified to provide advice across the spectrum of investment and financial planning, and is proud to be working as part of the KMG team in bringing an extremely high level of professionalism and expertise to our clients.
In his spare time, Nick enjoys running, keeping fit and competes in marathons.
Jenna Duffett
Jenna has worked in the industry for 22 years working firstly at Midland Bank (now HSBC) and then joined the KMG team 19 years ago.
Jenna is qualified to advise on specialist areas including pensions, mortgages, post retirement mortgages (lifetime mortgages), and long term care planning.
Jenna is passionate about education and serves as Chair of Governors for her local primary school.
Client Support Team
We are very proud of our client support team that between them has 150 years of experience in the financial services industry! Each member of the team is at least Diploma qualified therefore not only are they experienced, they have technical and extensive knowledge as well. We are proud to be different in our industry having a very large support team which we believe is integral to providing superior service levels and ensuring there is always someone available that can help. Never sitting still, our team continues to actively study to improve their knowledge and remain competent in their role. When asked what they enjoy most about the role, it is always about helping our clients!

Investment Team
KMG has operated its own investment team for more than 40 years researching and recommending funds and strategies to our clients. The team on a daily basis is run by our Investment Managers and Analyst, but contributed to by the entire KMG team. Twice a month the team gather to discuss all of the issues in the market and the strategic overview we should adopt and discuss topical events. Our Investment Committee consisting of our advisers and administrators team meet once a month to agree the formal strategy recommended to our clients and the implementation of this. We are pleased to include in these meetings external professionals who bring a further dimension to the discussions and ensure our strategy is both challenged and robust.

Our business support team assist the company in the day to day operations of running a busy practice. There is never a dull day and they work tirelessly to ensure the smooth running of the business allowing the client team to focus on what they do best – looking after our clients. Our business support team, like the client support team, are qualified individuals and seek to ensure they train in all the latest technology and support packages to deliver robust systems to the business.
